Characteristics of Service - This is an online price information service for properties in Scotland. Property prices can be found in the public property registers. This service provides a convenient and cost effective way of obtaining information relevant to a defined locality. We may withdraw or alter the service at any time.

Supplier - The supplier is Registers of Scotland Executive Agency, the public body responsible for running the Land and property registers in Scotland. Our place of establishment is Meadowbank House, 153 London Road, Edinburgh EH8 7AU. You can contact us at: -

Price - The price for using the service is £3.88 for each search. This is inclusive of standard rate (17.5%) VAT of £0.58. Our VAT Registration Number is (GB) GD410. We may amend the price at any time but will not do so without giving clear notice on the service website that a price change has been applied. In addition you will incur your normal charges for internet usage to your own telecoms and internet service providers.

Payment - Payment is by online credit or debit card transaction. The payment part of the site is hosted for us by WorldPay, a part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, and is highly secure. Should fraudulent use be made of your card in an internet transaction, you are entitled to have the sum in question returned or recredited to you.

Performance - When you make a search the service will return online a list of addresses found within the search criteria. If you wish the prices paid for these addresses, confirm payment and the service will immediately return to you online with the prices.

Correcting input errors - If you have made a mistake in your search criteria you can correct this by using the 'previous step', 'cancel' or 'start again' buttons at any stage prior to clicking the 'make payment' button.

No cooling off period - As the service processes your search immediately, you have no right to withdraw from the contract or to a cancellation period after you click the 'make payment' button.

Contract - technical details The contract between us is formed by your making an offer when you click the 'make payment' button and our acceptance by displaying the search results to you.
