LANGUAGES All of the information in the registers is open to the public. We want to make the information open to all and have taken a number of steps to make access easier. Enquiries from all sections of the community are welcomed. Our multi-language
leaflet contains information in Gaelic, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Punjabi
and Urdu. Customers using our Customer Service Centres can have access to an interpreter to assist with their enquiry. Requests for this service can be made by contacting one of the Centres. We also have staff who are educated in the use of British Sign Language to assist members of the deaf community. The Customer
Service Centres can be contacted in person, in writing, by telephone,

Textphone users can contact us on 0845 607 0168 (local rate) The Customer Service Centres are open to the public from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Both centres have wheelchair access and hearing loops. What We Do We welcome requests from community groups and organisations to find out what we do and what information we can provide.
