| Plans Information Paper 3/2008 Exclusion of Indemnity and the Plans Settlers Role Recently there has been some confusion over responsibilities and roles when the Plans settler identifies a problem with extent that will result in an exclusion from indemnity from a Title. Section 8.12 23 of the Plans Manual which deals with this was unclear and confusing and as a result has been rewritten. It should be noted that there is no change to policy or practise.
