Fee Review — Sasines Representment

RoS operates as a Trading Fund. This means that we are entirely self-financing, covering our expenditure primarily through the fees that we charge for our registration and information services.

Sasines Representment

If a deed was submitted to the General Register of Sasines prior to 10 January 2011 and is subsequently withdrawn and represented after 10 January 2011, then the terms of the Fees in the Registers of Scotland Amendment Order 2010 will apply. This means that additional funds are likely to be required.  If the application was initially by direct debit, when it is represented we will take the full fee as per the 2010 Amendment Order and refund the original fee. If cheques were used then we only require the additional amount to be submitted.
