Pre-Registration — What We Do Not Do
The Pre-Registration Enquiry Service deals with specific topics. To help you direct your enquiry to the part of RoS that will help you, below is a list of the most common areas of enquiry not covered by pre-reg enquiries, with contact details.
We do not deal with:
- Questions about forms or fees (for forms email eservices and for fees see our Fee Calculator on this page)
- Requests for voluntary registration or amalgamation – this is dealt with by Eric Willis
- Questions on pending applications these must be addressed to team leader concerned
- Inaccuracies in the Title Sheet – an application should be made to rectify on a form 9
- Questions on hypothetical issues
- Requests to carry out a full examination of title (contact Registers of Scotland, Meadowbank House, 153 London Road, Edinburgh, EH8 7AU, DX: 555400, Edinburgh 15, LP: 54, Edinburgh 5)
- Requests for clarification of, or correction of errors, in Title Sheets:
- if clarification is required regarding the composition of a title sheet
- if the Keeper has made an error in compilation of a title sheet
These requests should be addressed to the section dealing with the application or the section who issued the Title Sheet - We can no longer accept telephone enquiries for Pre-Registration enquires
