Land and Property Data
To fulfil the current or future needs of both new and existing customers Business Development uses Information Technology to improve accessibility of land and property information throughout Scotland.
Some of the new products we have developed are explained in outline and where possible sample data can be viewed. We also intend to continue to develop our reports to meet the needs of our customers.
The LPD reports that are updated weekly and monthly are not as accurate as the quarterly statistical release as the data in the quarterly release has had time to move through the registration process and is subject to a more robust quality assurance process. The weekly and monthly updated reports give a more current picture of movement in the housing market to the public and professionals. RoS does not seasonally adjust any of its data and includes year-on-year comparisons to allow relevant comparisons to be made.
