Meadowbank House Refurbishment
Our main office, Meadowbank House (153 London Road) is about to undergo a refurbishment project to improve facilities.
Starting on 28 February 2011 for approximately 2 years, the works will include a new entrance to the building and an extension to merge our Customer Service Centre (currently located on Queen Street) into Meadowbank House.
The proposed entrance will be a modern architectural statement which will be raised up a level to provide better connection and accessibility between the building and London Road. Internally this will allow for the creation of a new Customer Service Centre, meeting and conference rooms and refurbished office space so that they are generally open plan, flexible and well lit with efficient modern desk layouts.
The refurbishment will improve our Building Energy Performance rating by making the lighting more efficient, introducing a new heating and cooling system, and planting a green roof of sedum on the extension.
Plans of the refurbishment can be found on The City of Edinburgh Council website.
If you have any questions regarding our refurbishment please contact our Project Manager Graham Curran or Estates Manager Fiona Taylor on 0131 659 6111 or email MBHRefurbishment@ros.gov.uk.
