Sheenagh Adams, Keeper

Today, 1 July, Sheenagh Adams takes up her new post as the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland.

The First Minister Alex Salmond, with the consent of the Lord President of the Court of Session, announced the appointment of Sheenagh as the new Keeper of the Registers of Scotland on June 5.

Her civil service career has included posts in housing, rural affairs, the natural and built heritage, and the voluntary sector.

Sheenagh has an MA (Hons) in Mediaeval History from St Andrews University and a Diploma in Housing Studies from Glasgow University. She lives in Linlithgow with her husband and two daughters.
