Expenditure Reports

The UK Government has committed to publishing information on government spending over £25,000. The commitment is part of the Government’s transparency and reform agenda and aims to enhance openness and transparency in the public sector. The requirement imposes a duty on public bodies to publish information on all spend over £25,000 on a monthly basis. The first publication will be published by 31 October 2010, covering the period April to September, with monthly publication by the 15th of each month thereafter.

All payments made over £25,000 will be published and where a single invoice has been coded to multiple expense types, each individual expense type within the invoice will be published even where each entry is less than £25,000. Note that no information is provided about the remuneration of, or other payments made, to any member of staff.
