We are planning to upgrade the current Registers Direct online searching system in the coming months.
The replacement system will contain some functional and presentational improvements. It will provide a more standardised delivery of the title plans (via PDF) and improvements to the Index Map functionality (via Flash). The system will also provide a foundation onto which future improvements can be built.
The new system is very intuitive and easy to use. Whilst there are some minor functionality changes, the most noticeable changes are to the overall design.
The RoS eServices team is liaising with those organisations currently using RD and identifying key users who will assist with the migration process and ensure a smooth changeover.
The rollout will be carried out in phases. The eServices team will keep users updated as progress is made on the rollout plans.
A range of guidance materials will be available to assist users including a computer based training (CBT) package.
