Pre-Registration
Enquiries Section has drawn up a list of the most frequently
asked questions by solicitors. It is stressed, however, that
the answers merely give an indication of the Keeper's requirements
in general terms. For further information, you may refer to
the new edition of the Registration of Title Practice Book
[Second edition 2000, published by Registers of Scotland Executive
Agency], which is available at http://www.ros.gov.uk/rotbook.
For the evidence that the Keeper may require in a particular
case (be that an application for a first registration or a
subsequent dealing with a registered title), you may wish
