GLOSSARY Absorption The merging of two fees as in a consolidation of property with superiority or on the termination of a lease otherwise than by expiry of its natural term (sections 2(1)(a)(iv), 2(4)(a) and 8(2)(b)). Deed inducing Registration The deed which is the immediate cause of a first registration in the Land Register.
