lender’s solicitor should at settlement take delivery of: (a)A  completed  and  signed  application  for  first  registration,  Form  1,  which  must  be  signed  by  the purchaser or by the purchaser’s solicitor together with a cheque in respect of the registration dues of the disposition. The terms of the Form 1 should have been adjusted in draft among the seller’s, the purchaser’s and the lender’s solicitors. (b)An Inventory Form 4 completed by the purchaser’s solicitor in duplicate. (c) All  the  deeds  and  documents  detailed  in  that  Inventory  being  all  the  deeds  and  documents required to support the application for first registration. (d)The items mentioned in (b), (c), (e) and (f) in the preceding paragraph. (e)The signed standard security and a cheque for the registration dues. (No warrant of registration should be endorsed on the standard security). (f) A letter of obligation in the terms set out in paragraph 8.15. First registration application for registration Purchase and loan transactions completed contemporaneously Same solicitor acting for purchaser and lender 8.22 There should be submitted to the Keeper: A completed and signed application for first registration, Form 1, together with the deed inducing first registration; in this case the disposition in favour of the purchaser. No warrant of registration should be included. All  the  deeds  and  documents  supporting  the  application  for  registration  accompanied  by  an inventory  Form  4  listing  these  deeds  and  documents.  The  inventory  should  be  completed  in duplicate. One copy will be returned by the Keeper as an acknowledgement and will bear the title number allocated to the interest. The inventory should include deeds and documents which are not yet in the purchaser’s solicitor’s possession but which are to follow, for example the feuduty redemption receipt (see below); common deeds not meeting the criteria set out in paragraph 5.13 and any discharge of an outstanding heritable security. (NB while a separate application on Form 2 is required for registration of such a discharge, a fixed fee of (currently) £22 will be payable.) Any  supplementary  plan  required  to  enable  the  Keeper  to  identify  the  subjects  (this  should  be listed  on  the  Inventory).  The  Form  P16  report  (if  any)  should  be  included  with  the  Form  1 application but not any equivalent    report from Private Searchers.
