NOTES  AND  DIRECTIONS  FOR  COMPLETION  OF  FORM  2  (BLUE)-APPLICATION  FOR  A  DEALING WITH REGISTERED INTEREST(S) (EXCLUDING DISPOSITION, FEU OR LONG LEASE OF PART OF THE PROPERTY OR A FEU OR LONG LEASE OF THE WHOLE OF THE PROPERTY)3 The Form 2 is to be used in the case of an application for registration of a transaction or event which deals  with  or  affects  a  registered  interest  or  interests  in  land.  The  following  are  examples  of  such transactions:- (a)   disposition of the whole interest in one registered title; (b)  standard security over the whole of the interest(s) in one or more registered titles; (c)   standard security over part of the interest in one registered title; (d)  discharge of a registered standard security; (e)   deed of conditions affecting all or part of the interest in a registered title; (f)   renunciation of a registered lease. The above list is demonstrative only. It should be noted that the only type of transaction affecting a registered interest for which a Form 2 is not suitable is a disposition of part of property forming a registered interest in land, or a feu or lease of the whole or part of that property. The information contained in Part A of the Form 2 will be machine scanned in the Land Register; all boxes in Part A should therefore be completed in typescript. Please type in the white response areas only. Do not staple or pin other documents to the Form 2. Care should be taken to ensure that the Form 2 is not torn, crumpled or excessively folded. Part A-The Notes I to 10 referred to on Form 2 Note 1 Presenting agent The name and address of the presenting agent should be inserted in the space provided. Note 2 FAS No Input Digits only Note 3 Name of deed Insert  the  full  name  of  the  deed  if  possible.  Where  space  does  not  permit  of  this,  an abbreviated version of the deed name may be used. (E.g. “Notice of Payment of Improvement Grant” could be shortened to “Improvement Grant”.) Note 4 County (i)    Insert the full name of the county within which the subjects to be registered are principally situated. Place an X in the box provided if the subjects fall within more than one county. (ii)   Deeds which are also to be recorded in the Sasine Register will require the appropriate application form for each register. Note 5 Title number All the appropriate Title Numbers must be listed. If there are more than three, then insert an X in the box provided and list the additional Title Numbers on a separate sheet.
