Registers of Scotland legal and plans reports
A new suite of legal and plans reports is now available via the Registers of Scotland (RoS) online services portal.
The new reports comply with the requirements of the 2012 Act which have been designed to give assurance to sellers, purchasers and lenders when transacting with property.
Once we receive a report application we intend to have the report processed and returned within 24 hours through the RoS portal.
On completion we will send you a link that gives access to your reports to view, save, and print for up to one year after completion. While the new reports retain a familiar format to the existing products, changes, including what they are called, have been made to reflect the new legislation.
The range of reports provides options depending on the circumstances of the particular transaction, to identify potential issues prior to registration and reduce the likelihood of rejection when the application is submitted for registration.
Full Reports guidance is available to view from our reports guidance.
