The Keeper nominated for three Director of the Year Awards
Registers of Scotland (RoS) are delighted to announce that Sheenagh Adams has been shortlisted for three awards at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Director of the Year Awards. As Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, Sheenagh has been nominated for recognition as Large Business Director of the Year, Public Sector Director of the Year, and Director of the Year for Edinburgh, Lothians and the Borders.
The IoD Scotland Director of the Year Awards celebrate strong business leadership across the country, with each entry assessed by an independent panel of judges in a rigorous selection process before the final shortlist is announced. This year was particularly competitive, with IoD reporting a 25% rise in entries compared with last year.
These nominations recognise the fantastic work championed by Sheenagh in the past year, building on her already impressive reputation in her seven years working as RoS’s first female Keeper in its 400 year history. Sheenagh’s dedication has been unquestionable, as have been her abilities in steering RoS through a period of major business transformation, include the move towards becoming a digital first organisation.
The winners will be revealed on Thursday 23 March at the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow. Like the Awards themselves, the Ceremony will be a night of celebration dedicated to the visionaries like Sheenagh who drive business successes across Scotland. Congratulations to all this year’s finalists, and best of luck to Sheenagh on 23 March.
