Janet Egdell has worked at Registers of Scotland since August 2014 as accountable officer and is responsible for a range of functions including information and analysis, data, finance, procurement and estates within the organisation.
She started her working life as a rural economist and has worked in a range of roles across academia, the third sector and government.
Most recently, prior to joining Registers, she worked for Scottish Government on infrastructure investment and innovative finance, but has also worked in other areas such as transport and fuel poverty.
Janet chairs the Executive Management Team, and is a member of the Registers of Scotland board.
Expenses since 2020 are lower than normal because of COVID-19 pandemic.
