We are seeking a new Non-Executive Director.

About the role

We are seeking someone of a high calibre with existing Non-Executive Director experience.

Previous proven success of shaping organisational strategy in a Chief Executive role would be ideal.

We would want to hear from you if you have a track record in:

  • property law
  • developing data and information services
  • stakeholder engagement
  • digital transformation
  • delivering public services

Experience of working in a public sector environment and a devolved administration would be desirable.

Your role in the organisation will be key in improving our current services and capturing new opportunities.

The RoS Board advises the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland in:

  • setting strategic objectives
  • key performance targets
  • evaluating strategic decisions

Our Non-Executive Directors bring an external perspective from the private, public or third sector.

They are strategic thinkers with strong communication skills and are able to pose constructive challenges to improving the performance of RoS.

Time commitment will vary between 12-15 days per year and the position is remunerated.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity with the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, Jennifer Henderson, contact Secretariat.

RoS places considerable emphasis on diversity at board level.

We welcome applications from qualified candidates in all sections of the community.
