Advance notices digital submission

Following on from our recent updates, we can confirm we are making good progress on providing a digital submission solution for advance notices, as quickly as possible.

As many of you will be aware we have a panel of customers that we work with to test new products and services (our UX panel) and have today sent a survey to this group, to help us identify what technology customers have access to whilst working from home, and the systems they are working with, to help us shape the digital submissions offer.

Another key priority is the speed at which we can develop this new service.

Cheque payments

In order to deliver this new system for digital submissions we will align it with existing digital services, meaning we will be unable to accept cheques as a method of payment, and will require users to have a direct debit (DD) account and FAS account in place.

Setting up a direct debit

To set up a DD instruction please fill out our pre-payment direct debit mandate form and required information form, send the original mandate form to your bank and a scanned copy to our finance team along with required information form at

If you do not have an existing FAS account

Your request for this can be emailed to and should include:

  • contact name
  • contact telephone number
  • email address for statements

We plan to issue a daily update to make sure we are as transparent as possible in our progress.
