How many registers do you hold – and what are they?

We hold 17 registers. The largest, and most commonly used, are the Land Register and the General Register of Sasines. See our registers for the full list and descriptions.

Can I request a search of the registers by phone?

No. You'll need to submit your request:

  • by email
  • by letter
  • in person
