Director of Digital, Data and Technology
Martin Burns leads the Digital, Data and Technology directorate, and is responsible for implementing, and driving, product strategies for digital, data and technology services, which will enable Registers of Scotland’s continued digital transformation.
Martin’s career spans over 25 years as a senior executive across a range of sectors. His expertise includes almost two decades with Ernst & Young, where as Client Director, he was responsible for leading delivery of technology strategies and programmes for a range of global clients. This was followed by his most recent experience at Tesco Bank where he was Digital Customer Experience Director.
During his almost 14 years at Tesco Bank, he enjoyed several leadership roles within digital service, delivery, and customer experience, leading on strategy development, and implementation.
