“a breakdown of the number of proper liferents registered in the Land Register over the past 5 years. If at all possible, it would be useful l if you could share the total number registered since 2004”
You also clarified that you would like our response to include deeds registered as 'Liferent only' as well as 'Disposition including liferent interest'.
Response:
The table below provides the number of registrations recorded under the categories ‘Liferent only’ and ‘Disposition including liferent interest’ for each year from 2004 onwards, in addition to an overall total. These figures are based on the registration categories recorded in our systems.
Please note that the figures for 2026 are accurate as of 22 September 2026 and therefore represent a partial year.
