Expedite assessment criteria


Each expedite request is assessed against needs-based priority criteria.

You must:

  • meet the criteria to qualify for an expedite request
  • supply evidence (if required)

This ensures that only the most urgent cases are prioritised.

Criteria

You must supply evidence if...
  • Lender won’t approve mortgage, re-mortgage, equity release or additional borrowing
  • Lender’s solicitor will not proceed
  • Loss of future transactions (sale, servitude, deed of conditions etc.)
  • Commercial impact
  • Court case
  • Boundary dispute
  • Personal reputation damage
You do not need to supply evidence  if...
  • Risk of homelessness
  • Terminal illness
  • Settle an estate
  • Risk to personal safety
  • Section 75 (planning and development)
  • Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022 (for land register application created pre-05092022)
  • De-crofting
  • Government-led grant
  • Removal from Register of Overseas Entities under s.9 of the 2022 Act
  • A standard security being enforced
