We have now published our 2024-25 annual report and accounts, giving an outline of our key business activities and performance over the past financial year.
Our main priority in 2024-25 has been to continue to clear our open casework. As of March 2025, our total stock was 101,229 – compared to 122,051 in March 2024.
Other highlights include:
- We completed 91% of registrations within 35 days
- We made progress in delivering the benefits of a completed land register, with land mass coverage now at over 95%
- We prepared for the launch of our two newest registers – on Moveable Transactions – which went live on 1 April 2025
- We launched our Employee Value Proposition to support talent acquisition and help reduce our reliance on contractors in our digital workforce
- We maintained our gold level ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation from Investors in People
- We maintained a financial self-funded position and delivered a surplus - providing financial support to the Scottish Government
We always aim to focus on what matters most to our customers. We are encouraged that our Customer Satisfaction Index results were both above the UK and public sector averages this year – at 83.4 for professionals and 80.5 for citizens.
Jennifer Henderson, Chief Executive and the Keeper of Registers of Scotland said:
“Looking ahead, we have a clear plan for the coming year and know what remains to be done to complete our current corporate plan. The work to define our next corporate plan is also underway, and I look forward to discussing with customers, stakeholders and colleagues how RoS can continue to deliver the best public service into the future.
“Everything that we have achieved this year has only been possible thanks to collaboration. I am very grateful to everyone who has contributed in 2024-25.”
