Our Development Plan Approval (DPA) service supports customers by:

• checking development plans and deeds
• identifying issues before the registration of individual plots

To process your DPA application as quickly and accurately as possible we ask you to submit data in a specific format.

RCI – latest news and features

We continue to work with customers to improve their experience of making a submission to RCI. Our RCI guidance articles are easily accessible and designed to help our customers navigate the legislation and the registration process. Our webinar series continues with the next one focussing on a ‘Beginners Guide to the RCI’ on 20 September. See our webinar page to find out more and book your place.

Scottish Ministers encourage everyone who is within scope of the RCI legislation to engage with the process as early as possible.

Those in scope now have until 1 April 2024 to register before RCI offence provisions have effect.

RLP

RLP currently supports around 85% of all Land Register submissions. Changes to our online services home page were released at the end of July to improve the customer journey and create more effective routing to services. It also included merging the Land register application form dashboard into the RLP dashboard. We have also commenced work to create APIs to facilitate third party system integrations for RLP and will share more details over the coming months.
