Geovation Scotland Accelerator Programme – Cohort 8
Applications for Geovation Scotland's annual Accelerator Programme are now open.
We're looking for UK-registered, early-stage tech startups innovating across land, property, and location sectors.
If you’re interested, or know anyone who might be, apply before the 15 June.
Changes to burdens & servitudes questions in RLP – coming soon
We’ll soon introduce a change to how burdens and servitudes are captured in Register Land and Property (RLP).
As part of this change, there will be updates to how we ask questions and display information within RLP.
What’s new?
We will ask you to confirm whether the deed inducing registration contains new burdens and/or servitudes.
We will also ask you to identify all the prior deeds that contain burdens and/or servitudes affecting the plot to be registered.
Currently we only ask you to tell us about burdens and servitudes that were not mentioned in the deed inducing registration.
Why are you making these changes?
This change will streamline the transcription of burdens into the D section.
This is the first in a series of changes we plan to implement to the application journey that collectively seek to improve, simplify and increase registration efficiency.
If you have further questions, email Customer Services.
Digital Submission Service (DSS) - Introducing document labelling for FRs
We’ll soon be introducing improvements to document classification within DSS to support a more efficient registration process.
We are changing how supporting documents are labelled at the point of submission. This will help achieve greater consistency in document labelling, reducing the need for in-house editing or reclassification that can slow an application’s progress.
These changes have been informed by a user-centred design approach, including in-person prototype sessions with over 20 customers to assess feasibility, usability and sentiment. Feedback has been positive and has helped shape the proposed improvements.
Why are you making these changes?
This is part of a series of changes we plan to implement to the application journey that collectively seek to improve, simplify and increase the registration efficiency.
What’s next?
We will provide more information, including a demo highlighting the changes in due course.
If you have further questions, email Customer Services.
Q4 KPI update January – March 26
Key performance indicators (KPIs) measure how we're performing against our 5 strategic objectives. This is the last set of quarterly results for FY25-26.
Read the KPI update for January to March 2026.
Corporate Plan 2022-2027 – Delivery Year 5 published
We recently published our Corporate Plan Delivery Year 5. It outlines how we performed against our Year 4 targets and what we need to achieve in Year 5.
New Corporate Plan 2027-32 – we want your feedback
Work is ongoing to create a set of new strategic objectives for our next corporate plan 27-32. Stakeholder engagement has helped develop a set of draft objectives and outcomes. Read the draft objectives as they stand so far.
If you missed our webinar on the emerging objectives (opens in new tab) guiding our next plan you can still register and then view the recording.
At this point we are still gathering feedback and refining the detail, so they may look different by the time we publish the next 5 year corporate plan. Get involved and send us your feedback.
