Register land and property (RLP)

Register land and property (RLP) replaced the Land Register Application Form (LRAF) and is now the main channel for submitting applications.

This digital platform is:

  • the standard process for registering most deeds in the Land Register
  • more streamlined and simplified than LRAF

It is not for sasine applications.

Supported applications

RLP can be used for 95% of applications to the Land Register, including:

  • all dealings with whole, including digital discharges
  • all transfers of part
  • transactions involving multiple titles
  • first registrations
  • voluntary registrations

Transactions involving leases or deeds relating to leases, are not yet supported.

You should continue to use the old LRAF for these applications.
