You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
You can apply for any job in the Civil Service if you:
- are a UK national
- have dual nationality with one part being British
In addition, the following nationalities are eligible to apply for RoS vacancies:
- Commonwealth countries who have the right to work in the UK
- Republic of Ireland
- EU, EEA or Switzerland with (or eligible for) status under the European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS)
- relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals working in the Civil Service
- relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals who have built up the right to work in the Civil Service
- certain family members of the relevant EU, EEA, Swiss or Turkish nationals
Those with a time limited ‘Right to Work’ status must ensure that they maintain their status during their employment.
