Scope
This EQIA relates to the Mental Wellbeing Policy, which aims to promote positive mental health and provide support to all employees. The policy has recently been reviewed and approved by the Strategic People Authority as part of a regular two-year review cycle. Although the policy has undergone minor updates, this is its first formal EQIA.
Impact and mitigations
The policy is broadly considered to have a positive impact for all protected characteristics as it promotes positive mental health and relevant support available for all employees.
The policy is expected to have a broadly positive effect in relation to the Fairer Scotland Duty and the Islands Communities (Scotland) Act 2018.
The policy relates to RoS employees only and as such has no impact on the Consumer Scotland Duty.
