All discharges of standard security must be submitted using RLP
All types of discharge of standard security are now supported in Register land and property (RLP).
As of 10 August, you will no longer be able to use the old land register application form (LRAF) to submit an application for this deed type. We are making this change to increase the efficiency of processing discharge applications and reduce reliance on the old form and will be removing more application types over the coming months.
If you encounter any issues when creating your discharge in RLP, please contact our Customer Services team for assistance.

Following a competitive recruitment process, we are delighted to announce the appointment of four new Non-Executive Directors, who will join the RoS Board from 1 September 2026.
