We are making a series of changes to the application process to improve efficiency.
Digital submission document upload process
- New document upload functionality
- Date of change 25 August 2026

When submitting applications through the Digital Submissions Service (DSS), the information provided in the document inventory will be used to guide you through the upload process.
Additional documents can be added and labelled if needed.

When completing the document inventory in Register Land and Property (RLP) deeds recorded before the split-off do not need to be listed or submitted.Watch the document upload walkthrough video

Burdens and servitudes questions
- Change to the burdens and servitudes questions in RLP
- Date of change 25 August 2026
- Applies to First Registrations and Voluntary Registrations
We will ask:
- if the deed to be registered creates any new burdens or servitude rights
- you to confirm which prior deeds, from your document inventory, contain burdens or servitude rights which affect the plot to be registered
When the subjects are within a RA, we do not need you tell us about deeds before the split-off.
