RoS is continually working to improve working practices to deliver more efficiently for our customers.
Once an Advance Notice for a plot within a DPA site is registered, the customer receives a confirmation PDF.
The way in which the map is displayed on that document is changing.
The current PDF shows the plot in isolation with cross hatching to mark the site.
The new PDF will display the plot within the context of the full development. It will also include a short text description to identify the protected plot.
This change has no impact on the legal effect of the advance notice but offers customers greater certainty as to the plot being protected.
The updated style of PDF will start to appear week commencing 09 August 2021.
