Annual report 2023-24

We published our 2023-24 Annual Report and Accounts on 09 October 2024.

It gives an outline of our key business activities and performance over the past financial year.

We always aim to focus on what matters most to our customers.

Our main priority in 2023-24 has been to continue to try and clear our long-standing open casework. This year saw a key milestone towards this as our total volume of open casework went into decline.

Other highlights were:

• Our Customer Satisfaction Index results were 81.7 for professionals and 84.4 for citizens

• We completed 90% of registrations within 35 days

• We made progress in delivering the benefits of a completed land register, with land mass coverage now at over 95%

• Our digital journey continued at pace, and we introduced automation for our most straightforward applications

• We reached the end of the transition period for our newest register - the Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land (RCI)

• We retained the gold level ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation from Investors in People

• We achieved a break-even financial position
