Sustainability and climate change update report
In September 2021, we published our Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy 2021-2026. Within that document, we set ourselves the goal of achieving net zero direct emissions by 2040 and net zero emissions by 2045. We are now entering the final year of this strategy.
In our latest blog we look at how we have continued to embed our commitment to sustainability and climate change throughout the organisation in 2024-25.
Geovation Scotland new cohort
The 7th Geovation Scotland accelerator programme is officially under way. This year we have six inspiring proptech and geotech start-ups ready to take their next steps with the support of Registers of Scotland and Ordnance Survey.
The companies joining Cohort 7 of the programme bring the total number of early-stage start-ups supported by Geovation Scotland to 39. We have supported these organisations to help them raise in excess of £7.2m in inward investment and additional funding, contributing to the creation of over 110 new sector jobs.
