The Register of Applications by Community Bodies to Buy Land (RoACBL) contains applications by community bodies to buy land.
You can search the RoACBL register for free, to find applications by community bodies.
Two-part register
The register consists of two parts:
- The first is a register of information and documents relating to applications for the right to buy abandoned, neglected or detrimental land.
- The second is a register of applications for the right to buy land for further sustainable development.
Who looks after the register
We maintain this part of the register, but Scottish Ministers make registration decisions.
How to apply
Community bodies can apply to bring land back into productive use for the benefit of the local community.
