The climate is in crisis, and we must act now to limit global warming before it’s too late. In response to this, the Scottish Government declared a climate emergency in 2019 and set out a net zero emissions target to be reached by 2045.
As a public sector body, RoS has a duty to contribute to and align ourselves with this target, and to embed sustainability throughout everything we do.
We are committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2045.
Our:
- Sustainability & Climate Change Strategy (SCCS) 2021-26 sets out an initial 5-year approach
- Annual SCCS updates provide an update on achievements and next steps.
