Christine Martin

Chris began her career in the oil industry as a software developer before going on to specialise in project and programme management.

She has many years of senior management experience in technology leadership roles delivering complex business change and operational support services.

Chris achieved a first class honours degree in Mathematics and a masters in Operational Research.

She has worked for a variety of organisations in both public and private sectors including KPMG, Scottish Qualifications Authority, the NHS, Scottish Media Group and a number of financial services organisations.

For the last 10 years, Chris has worked primarily as an independent consultant and her most recent role has been as interim Director of Information Services at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Chris also held a non-executive director role at Glasgow Women’s Aid for 8 years including 3 years as Chair and has been a volunteer counsellor with ChildLine for over 14 years.
