The Corporate Plan covering 2022-2027 was published on 1 April. This was supported by a public launch event on 6 May. This was an opportunity to find out more about what we want to achieve over the next five years and how we plan to tackle our biggest challenges

Four new companies will be joining the programme and will benefit from access to RoS and Ordnance Survey data, up to £15k of grant funding and 6 months intensive support to help develop their start-up.
We will be announcing the new companies next week so keep an eye out on our channels to find out more.
Trainee Continuous Professional Development (TCPD)
RoS webinars are now also certified as part of the Law Society of Scotland’s programme of Continuous Professional Development for Trainees.

Increasing transparency: The Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land
RoS launched the Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land (RCI) on 1 April 2022. RCI holds a record of people that can influence decisions concerning ownership of land in Scotland.
RCI will increase public transparency over decision making concerning land and ensure there can no longer be categories of owner or tenant where, intentionally, or otherwise, control of decision making is obscured
If you require to register, there is a 1-year grace period to 1 April 2023 to do so before offence provisions for non-compliance come into force.
Find out more on our guidance pages and access the service.
Register Land & Property (RLP)
RLP is available on the Online Services home page to all firms who submit land register applications. RLP is a more efficient way to draft, submit and track advance notices and applications.
471 firms are using RLP, and over 45,000 cases have been created to date. Based on customer feedback we’re continuing to develop and roll out service improvements, including, most recently, the option to make a case private so that others in your organisation can’t see it.
Next, we’re working on expanding the service to include discharges of standard securities over registered titles.
For more information, including a demonstration, you can access the recordings of our recent webinars or join us at our next webinar on 1 June.
