New ScotLIS Business feature
ScotLIS for Business will soon have a new feature. Thanks to the Unlocking Sasines Project you will be able to view an indicative layer of Sasines information on the map. This work allows us to visually represent the Sasine Register for the first time, making it more helpful and accessible.
Keep an eye on our social media channels and in future newsletters for the go live date.
Find out more about Unlocking Sasines and how it indicates the likely ownership of areas not on the land register with a high degree of certainty.
RoS answers Committee questions at the Scottish Parliament
Last month Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, Jennifer Henderson and Accountable Officer, Chris Kerr attended the Economy and Fair Work Committee to give update on our activities, performance, and plans.
Reducing the volume and age of our casework remains our number one priority. Since our last appearance in June 2023, we have removed 27,000 cases from our stock of open casework.
You can watch the meeting in full on the Scottish Parliament website.
