Register Land and Property update

Published: 06 October 2021

Since the launch of Register Land and Property (RLP) in June over 200 firms have registered, and we’re now receiving over 500 cases per week.

Here’s what customers are saying:

“It’s unbelievably user-friendly compared to the old registration forms.”

“Anything that creates less work to do with data duplication is always great.”

“Really easy to use.”

“Very well done and a vast improvement on what was there before.”

What’s new – register DPA plots through RLP

As well as dealings over the whole of a single registered title, customers can now create cases for transfers of part where the subjects form part of an approved development plan (DPA).

When you create your case, you’ll be asked to enter the parent title for your plot, and then be able to select the appropriate development plan from a list of approved plans relating to that title:

The DPA details will then be populated into your case and onto your forms, removing the need to type them in manually. You’ll then be able to complete and submit advance notices and application forms for the disposition and any related standard securities directly from your case, taking advantage of all the time-saving features of RLP.

Feedback and continuous improvement

We’re committed to continually enhancing our services in response to customer feedback, so please send us your thoughts or suggestions using the Feedback link which you’ll find at the right hand side of each screen. You can keep up to date with recent developments using the ‘what’s new’ link which you’ll find at the top of your RLP dashboard.
