Sustainability: what we’ve achieved and what’s next
In our recently published Corporate Plan – delivery year 3, we shared a brief update on some of the key sustainability successes at RoS in 2023-24.
In our latest blog we look at achievements over the last year and look forward to 2025.

Resources for new conveyancers
We would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone starting their traineeship this autumn.
If you are new to the world of conveyancing, we are here to help.
Explore our resources for an introduction to the areas you are most likely to come across.
Registers of Moveable Transactions – consultation now closed
Our public consultation on fee proposals for registers introduced by the Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Act has now closed.
Thank you to those of you who took the time to tell us your thoughts. We are in the process of completing the analysis and will publish the report here in due course.
You can read more about the Moveable Transactions project in a guest blog series by the Digital Assurance Office’s Continuous Improvement Team.
Embedded Title Sheets update
RoS’ main priority is to clear our open casework. To help us process cases more quickly, we have been running a pilot to explore a different way to present a subset of our Transfer of Part (TP) title sheets.
Based on the evidence gathered from the pilot, and positive customer feedback, we will now start to roll out ETS more widely.
