New - Title Inaccuracy Enquiries Service

We have a new way to submit post registration enquiries. The new Title Inaccuracy Enquiries (TIE) service went live on 17 July.

Read the blog to find out more about the benefits of the new service and how to access it.

Executive Team update

You may have seen our recently posted job advertisements for two new Directors to join our Executive Management Team (EMT), if you know someone who is looking for their next leadership position please do share.

As part of the changes to our EMT, Kenny Crawford, Director of Customer and Product will be leaving RoS in the Autumn to pursue new interests, and we wish him all the best for the future.

Achieving efficiencies through data collaboration - RoS and RPID

In the continued drive for cost savings and greater efficiencies across the public sector, it is crucial that organisations increasingly work together.

Read our blog to find out more about how RoS and the Rural Payments and Inspections Division (RPID) at Scottish Government have been working together on the Unlocking Sasines Project.

Online Services – update

On 28 July we’re making some changes to our Online Services. This will improve how you access our services and help us direct you to the most appropriate channel for your application. It also means you can see all your Land Register Application Forms and Register Land and Property (RLP) cases on one dashboard.

As part of the update, we are also changing the name. It will now be called Business Services.

You can hear from the experts on how to use RLP at our next webinar on 29 August.

Our customer service team is always here to answer your questions and offer support.

RCI – latest news and features

We continue to work with customers to improve their experience of making a submission to RCI. Our RCI guidance articles have been re-structured for easier navigation and to view information at a glance, and a new help and support section has been created. In the service, to keep up to date with new features released, see our What’s New pages.

Our webinar series continues with the next one focussing on a ‘Beginners Guide to the RCI’ on 20 September. See our webinar page to find out more and book your place.

Scottish Ministers encourage everyone who is within scope of the RCI legislation to engage with the process as early as possible.

You now have until 1 April 2024 before RCI offence provisions have effect.
